Who the heck says “Legos”? It’s “Lego” – it’s a mass noun, like “gravel” or “sand”.

Pretty much everyone in the US. We like our nouns regular.
A childhood full of Lego has prepared me for an adulthood full of Ikea.
The first lego set I got in 1978 ish had a booklet for towtruck that was pictured on the box.
One of the many things my ex-husband does that drives me insane: He will buy Lego kits, assemble them according to instructions, then present the finished product to our son as a gift. I try to explain to the boy that Lego is a building toy, and it can be lots of fun to make your own stuff with the bricks, but he doesn’t want to bust up Dad’s hard work.
I very much dislike your ex-husband.

Did he also give filled-in crosswords and completed jigsaw puzzles?
So do I! Let’s drive by his house and pelt him with Duplo blocks!

John Stossel (on 20/20, I think) did a report a few years ago in which he complained that Lego kits were too hard for adults to assemble; specifically, he said the average adult couldn’t assemble the model in time to have it ready to go under the Christmas tree.
