If you are the sole operator of a vehicle: Keeping the registration and insurance card in your wallet insures _you_ will have them if needed, but a car thief will not. Makes the cop’s job a bit easier - you say the owner loaned you the car? What is her name? ---

Home from irk, ingesting therapeutic nachos. No specific big problems, just general crabbies. I suspect hormonal influence. It’s too hot here (considering that I work in a warehouse, anything over about 80 qualifies. This week is mid-90s or higher). Training for DH’s new job is going fine, he says, and the car is also behaving. Princess Allie is coping with the change in routine, and as usual, Ava (aka Featherhead, Birdbrain, etc.) takes the view that as long as her dishes are full and she has her usual humans and cat, it’s all good. I have tomorrow off. Sleep and working on some backed-up DVR contents are at the top of the agenda. Probably should do some laundry, too. One section of the hamper seems to be filling up. ---

While we have a heat advisory in effect, so far the weather PTB have not suggested I stay in the air conditioner. **Sari** best wishes for successful surgery and gettin’ better soonest. Wonder of wonder, miracle miracles - I slept thru the night!! No interruptions from cats or bladders or dogs or nocturnal Fuller Brush salesmen!! Initiate Happy Dance!!! 😃 I may actually work in my yard a little bit today. It’ll get hot later, but it’s just 72° right now, so I may get an hour or so before I surrender. After breakfast, of course. And some time today, I’ll run the vacuum cleaner. Today is the last day of school in our county - hallelujah!! Not that it directly affects me, but considering how Higgs barks at the buses that stop on our corner, my ears will be grateful for the respite for a couple of months. Happy Wednesday, all!! ---
