One of the single weirdest moments I ever had covering politics (other than the Pat Buchanan job interview) was watching GHWB making a speech at the remains of the Berlin Wall in (approx) 1999 and hearing him quote a song by _Jesus Jones_. Not accidentally, either. He mentioned the song and then quoted from ‘Right Here, Right Now’. Completely appropriate in context…but not from that mouth it wasn’t! How weird is that? ---
