That is correct **Synnic** , glad to have you join us 🙂

Under the clock - I might be the most easily recognisable since I am titchy. Look for the woman with short hair who is under five foot tall (and older than 12 years of age).

Faaaaabulous. Looking forward to it!

Any ideas on anything specific to do on Saturday afternoon yet, or shall we play it by ear?

And is everyone that said they were coming and are listed in my last list still coming?

The saddest (and funniest) thing about Eurovision is that no matter how hard the various acts try, they’re never going to top “My Lovely Horse”.

A pity Christopher Price didn’t stay around long enough to do Eurovision this year; I can’t stand Terry Wogan’s progressively inebriated commentary.

Anyhow, if we can’t find a pub showing Eurovision, we could always find a karaoke bar and do our own version…

First rule in the book “How to Sweep a Woman Off Her Feet”…

1. Spell her name correctly. It’s **Synnic** , with two 'n’s!

hehe…

I just realized she called you **Twisted**. Maybe you two have met before?

Oh, thanks for the compliment. I’ll be the non-tichy woman.

I’ll be the one just returning from Hartlepool with a pair of exploding trousers.

warming up the old ill-used Mornington Crescent brain cells. Dammit - I can’t for the _life_ of me remember what was special about Rayners Park if the King James East motion has been declared. Anyone?

It was out of bounds to Clockwise declarations unless two or more players were in stumps, I believe. Though I do believe there are further conjectures to this rule.

Watch out for a fat man wearing a strange fixed grin.

Sound general advice for almost any occasion… but, if you see one of them in London on Saturday, it may very well be me.

Very droll.

You do realise, of course, with the laundry situation the way it is, a strange fixed grin may be _all_ I’m wearing… should make me easy to pick out of a crowd.

Funny; most women claim to have a hard time finding Mr. (W)Right…

Damn – that doesn’t work as well in print…

I can assure you, from frequently repeated personal experience, it doesn’t work any too well when spoken aloud either… ☹

(At least, whenever I say “Hey baby! Still looking for Mr Wright! Well, now you’ve found him, ha ha ha!”, women, for some reason, always seem to hear it as “Please scream loudly, hit me very hard in the groin, and call the police”. Can’t win 'em all, I suppose…)

I was in London this weekend, and have a recommendation for the Londopers: at the base of the London Eye they have ‘bungee trampolines’. Trampolines with two very tall poles either side of them, with bungees attached to the pole at the top end, and to a harness at the bottom. You get harnessed in, and then bounce up and down. The bungees shoot you about 20 feet into the air, and you come springing down onto the trampoline. You can do double back-flips and everything.

It feels like flying, and it’s only £6 a go!

Highly recommended.

It’s **Rayners Lane** , not Park, of course. Under Gibberty Rules, which we’ll probably use, if KJE motion has been declared then no ‘Acton’ or ‘Road’ can be used for two rounds of play (unless Stirrups are revoked, obviously, but you’d have to be mad to try this as it only takes one ‘Tufnell Park’ or equivalent and you’re more or less dead in the water).

I think I was getting mixed up between two rules: the Rayners Lane Rule you’ve reminded us of and the Green Park Gambit that I think **Twisty** was on about.

I should be hitting the station about 12:30, so if anybody else is early you can find me in the pub on the station til 1:00.

If the weather is too crap for bungie-puking, a suggestion is the History of Video Games at the Barbican. Here’s a link: [http://www.gameonweb.co.uk/](http://www.gameonweb.co.uk/)
