I would have loved to have met you all, but I’ve been planning a birthday party for three friends for the past 6 months, and it just happens to coincide with that weekend, so I’ll be down in Paignton. ☹ ---

I have invited **Anahita** and **Twisty** to stay at my house for the weekend, so hopefully that’s cool. So… The Silver Cross on Saturday night. How about during the day - anyone fancy doing The Eye? Or something else? Any plans for eating - suggestions? ---

I’ll be coming in to Gatwick at 10:20am of Friday and I’m up for anything (that doesn’t break my marital vows—hey, wait a minute, I got married in Japan, there were no vows!)… Fran, do you think it’d be ok if I bring about 6 bottles of wine with me or will it be a hassle to carry them around London and find a place to stash them on Friday? If it’s a problem, I’ll just bring two in my luggage. You are not quite comprehending how excited I am to see you all and I’M GOING TO SEE LONDON!!! ---

I have a job interview in Whitehall on 25 May. (Some club or other is looking for an Ageing Gigolo). If I get the job I will have to start Straight Away but if previous form is anything to go by I have no chance. I hope to call in at the Silver Moon to drown my sorrows after yet another futile attempt to fulfil a childhood dream, so can someone please put me down as a definite maybe, possibly.
