When I was doing my overseas travelling years ago, my preference was to fly JAL between Singapore and Los Angeles. Continental from LAX to Houston.
The JAL flight was vastly superior.
Sorry for letting this thread go idle for so long. Just wanted to thank everyone who recommended Cathay Pacific to me. I just flew from JFK to Hong Kong, and waiting for my connecting flight to Bangkok, which leaves in 2 hours, and it was the best flying experience I’ve ever had!
Now, if anyone is still following this thread, what would you recommend I do with a day and a half in Bangkok? I was mainly taking this trip to visit a friend and do scuba diving in Koh Phangan, but I left myself some time at the end to see the city, and I still haven’t quite made up my plan. I’ll be at a hotel near the river and the Palace.
