[THIS](http://www.birdman.org.uk/gallery/goldboots.htm) cite should settle the matter, unless Mr. Rocket Rooster AKA Curt Rogers performed the stunt at another location, in a different date and different jump distance which I´m not aware of; perhaps in Massachussets? ---

I guess that’s the problem with this kind of game, we have to guess which right answer is being looked for. 🙂 Maybe you need to qualify it further; their may be many things called “flying peanut”. ---

Apparently, Primesite hasn’t verified that Ale has the correct answer, so we’re waiting on that one. Meanwhile, you can start on Ale’s one, since it seems it hasn’t been solved yet. Then, if those two get sorted out, we can get a new one. I really think someone should be the ‘oficial’ of this game. missing\_link is the obvious choice. You could of course do what I’m doing, wait till it all gets sorted out. ---

Sorry for the long delay - my boss suddenly disapproves of netsurfing in the office. **Ale-** After careful re-examination of data, I’m declaring you correct. [Here](http://www.goring-by-sea.uk.com/news024.htm) is the cite I was using as the basis of my question (scroll down the page). However, referencing your cite and it’s homepage, tells me that Mr. Freeman uses a hang glider to consistently win this event. Since it’s unlikely that he enters the contest twice, it appears that I found a caption that doesn’t match the accompanying photo. Besides, what are the odds that he could fly that far in those ridiculous boots? So - my bad. You are the WINNER! 😃 Carry on. (Note to self - check data TWICE prior to posting next time!) :smack: ---

What’s a “Peanut Scale” model? A Peanut Scale model is a rubber-powered flying scale model with a maximum wingspan of 13 inches. Peanut scale models were made popular in the 70’s and 80’s when the late Model Builder magazine (RIP) published a Peanut scale plan in the centerfold of almost every issue. They continue to be popular because of the limited amount of materials, building space, and storage space they require, and because they can be flown both indoors and outdoors. ---
