# Internet Explorer Has Modified This Page To Prevent Cross-Site Scripting

Don’t know if this means anything, but IExplorer has started giving me the abovequoted message when I look at most pages at SDMB. I figure it has something to do with an ad.

If it isn’t impacting your use of the Dope, don’t turn it off. It may even protect you from ads with malware. And if you do need to turn it off, do it on a site by site basis by using [security zones](http://support.microsoft.com/kb/174360).

😕 Who said anything about turning it off?

I was just making it known the TPTB, in case it has some significance.

ETA: Oh, nvm. **Johnny L.A.** said something about turning it off. I see that now…
