I keep getting this message when surfing the web:

Internet Explorer Script Error

Line: 11

Char: 1

Error: Object Expected

Url:
file://C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp\NDr21E6.tmp.html

Now everything stays the same each time except for the URL.

Then I am asked “Do you want to continue running scripts on this page/”

Yes/no

It doesn’t seem to matter if I pick yes or no. The problem still returns.

I have made sure the right boxes are checked in Internet Explorer Advanced properties. I have tried disabling Norton Internet Security.

It still pops up at random times.

Windows XP home

Internet Explorer 6.0

Any ideas?

Go to [Tools | Internet Options | Advanced]

**Check the box** for “Disable script debugging.”
**Uncheck the box** for “Display a notification about every script error.”

Better still, dump IE for Firefox.
