I think they were involved with one of the first Mars rovers, but whether they wrote code for it, or built mechanisms, or just helped design the mission logo, I have no idea. ---

He probably just made the coffee 😃 I’d welcome some funky snow, instead of this dreary grey drizzly cloud… Finished the bee course yesterday, but they’re starting the apiary meets, leading to more hands on stuff, next week, so yay for bees. Spent the day at the uni circus club- I’m almost starting to get up to speed again with hula hooping again- I was just starting to get good when I broke myself, and it set me back for aaaages. Is nice to feel almost back on track again. However, I did then accidently miss a meeting for a seed swap event I was supposed to be helping organise. Oops. I don’t think it matters though, it was the proposals for other stuff at the event, and I’m not really involved in that. Clearly. ---

My husband worked for a contractor at NASA and while most of what he did had to do with transporting various and sundry payloads around the country for manufacture and/or testing (not like you just bubble wrap the stuff and toss it into a box - he had to design holding fixtures, environmental systems, monitoring systems - some real high-tech stuff!) - anyway, he did design something that ended up going up in a big rocket. But if he wanted to impress people, he didn’t talk as much about the ground transportation, which is too bad. Some of the stuff he worked on was really cool! Daughter has taken her puppeh and gone home. Higgs is crashed on **FCD** ’s lap - she’s worn out. I’m about to toss another load into the washer. All in all, a mostly lazy afternoon. ---

Howdy Y’all! Today I have deheatenated, had a champagne **N.O.L.** at the country club and napped. **MOOOOOOM** you’ll be pleased to know I did not belch, fart or use the tablecloth as a napkin. They had for real cloth napkins and _silver_ware. I even had Bananas Foster for dessert. I was all couth and high class. 😃 **Taters** so sorry about your friend’s son. So young! Yay for **sahkid**! You have every right to brag **sari**. **Nuts** if you decide to hula hoop while covered head to toe in bees, please take a picture. 😃 Ok that’s all I got for now. Any volunteers for tomorrow yet? One of my best friends hubbie works for NASA. I think he is a rocket scientist, he is super duper smart. One time I forgot he was home and I was cussing their dogs (6 huskies at that time), I was soooo embarrassed when I realized he heard me. I told him I was sorry I cussed his dogs and he said I hadn’t called them anything worse than he had ever called them. He’s a cool dude. I know too many people who work for NSA. I interviewed there but they wanted me to work nights and weekends, and take a huge pay cut. Homemade bread is yum. I had an aunt who not only made homemade bread but she made homemade butter too. Double yum! Irking a 12 hour day today, or at least I’m going to try to get it all in without falling asleep. ---

Happy belated birthday wishes DOGGIO!!! I have been dealing with this intense red itchy rash on my left arm for about a week now, and it just gets worse and worse. I have used bendryl cream, oral antihistamines, cortizone, lotion, aloe, etc, and it isn’t getting any better and is now starting to get crusty sores. Gross. So now I have to wear long sleeves when I go out so as not to distract any clients I have to meet with. I suspect it has [something to do with being pregnant](http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/womenshealth/facts/skinrash_pregnancy.htm). Also, my ears have decided they don’t like earrings, after 10 years of successful earring wearing, they are now red, swollen, and crusty. This happened several times when I was younger and I have had my ears re-pierced 5 times, and will probably do it again whenever these heal. I am a sucker for pain and punishment I guess, plus I love my pretty ear baubles. ---
