But someone expressing conservative ideas here will likely be shot down moreso than outside of the internet, as there is a lower percentage of conservative members on the SDMB than in the real world. And for God, there is a higher proportion of atheists on this board than in the general public. Iā€™m not sure if thatā€™s just a ā€œyoungā€ thing, but I believe a recent survey showed 82% of the country were Christians, and about 10% atheists. Iā€™m betting that greater than 10% of the SDMB is atheist, which is why I said that comments regarding God are generally hot topics around here. Hunh, after not looking into this thread for a couple days I check in on Page Four, and it seems that the thread now is about cats. I asks ya, are we gonna tolerate that? ---
