I don’t know if it was a joke or a serious request for an apology (I suspect the former), but he definitely didn’t say his feelings were hurt. ---

I don’t know- football is pretty reliable. The field is always 100 yards from endzone to endzone, a touchdown is always six points, a field goal is always three, and it doesn’t judge. It’s better than some religions I can think of. Of course there’s that bizarre cult in Canada, but that’s a different story. ---
