I would like to formally announce that the new SDMD president is **dpr**. He won with an underwhelming margin in the poles in our voting thread. President **dpr** will be sworn at in this thread. I mean sworn in. Please help as much as possible as president **dpr** organizes his administration. ---

I knew dpr could do it! Seeing as how I voted for him (over and over again), I get to be a representative! Wonder what that means? Also wonder if the new pres will check in whilst he’s moving. This thread could be dead before he comes back. ---

Oh, as we seem to be starting to pander for positions, I would like to be secretary of defense. I want to be in charge of those planes and bombs and men in uniform and tanks and submarines. I promise not to invade more than a country a week. I hardly ever play with matches. Don’t be alarmed by the straightjacket, it is just for looks.
