# Invent a sport

We (my friends and I) made up a game in High School that we called Tackle 21, Moshketball, and Anarchy Basketball. It was played on half a basketball court (i.e. one basket) It had the rules for scoring as per Basketball’s 21. As the name implies, there were no rules against fouls. Other rules, dribbling was optional (if you did it you were stupid), holding an opponent was forbidden (but you could shove him/her down into the pavement at will), you could not attack the person if they were shooting the 1 point free throws (after they made the two points), there were no out of bounds (but typically you were not attacked if they thought you could not make a basket from some far away location, and then basically anything else goes. We had many a fun time playing that game.

Kicking and punching were looked down upon but common. If you hurt someone like that, you would probably be double/triple/or more teamed later depending on the resulting injuries. We played this in my first period gym class almost everyday and the coaches were generally too afraid to intervene.
