Not me ::wipe that look off your face, Harvey:: , but my oldest son had a ‘friend’ he referred to as “Andy Bear”. Don’t know whatever happened to him. Maybe he joined the circus or something. ---

Yeah, but only when I was with my cousin. She always got jelous if I paid attention to anyone else. So I thought an invisible friend would be funny… ---

Not when I was a kid, but now. If I didn’t have the invisible ones, I wouldn’t have any. They keep me from drinking alone. * * * Please do my laundry. ---

I had several. Both guys and girls. One girl, Penny, even had a car and she’d go on trips with me and my family, driving right along with us. I also had a ninja friend who was part Spiderman, and part Snake Eyes (from G.I. Joe). He had powers to shrink and fly, so he would entertain me by flying or swinging through the audience at any boring event I got stuck at. I still run into Penny from time to time. 😃 oooooooookay … why are all the Dopers looking at me funny now? ---

My brother and I had Mr Zero and family. If we were pushing an empty swing then one of the Zero family must be in it. And also i swore my Pound Puppy was able to feel things. ---

My brother had an invisible dog and cat for a bit. He got kind of picky about them, like 'They didn’t get in the car yet!" It was cute at first, but then he tried it when we were in a hurry, and he got “Yes they did”, and we drove off. I don’t remember them much after that. ---

None that I recall, although I insisted the family dog talked to me and I could understand him. My niece had an invisible brother who lived in the carpet in her bedroom. She wanted a sibling badly. StG ---

My little girl had one for a few days recently. Oddly, his name was the same as DangerDad’s first name, which he doesn’t use and which she doesn’t know yet. We took him to the store and everywhere, and she held hands with him all the time. ---

Yep, a boy and a girl. The girl was names PiPi and the boy was named DohDoh. I am not making this up. ---

Out of curiosity, it might be interesting for those answering to state whether they were only children or not as well. I was an only child and had two invisible friends: Johnny and Log. I’m not sure why his name was “Log,” but I guess maybe I saw a TV show in which a voiceover says, “Dear Log,” in the sense of “Dear Diary.” That’s all I can come up with. ---

My son had one last year. Superboy was his name. He didn’t have to get in the car, he would fly along side us. Superboy ate whatever my son didn’t like on his plate. He could walk through walls too. ---

Yup, up until the age of three I had one that would make fundies blanch… his name was **Demon**. That is, however, Demon - pronounced “DEM-mon”, and he was a butterfly who lived behind the clock face of Big Ben. He tended to make a big mess and spill things when nobody else was there. My little sister had a friend called Claudia Butterworth, who lived in her wallpaper. ---

Mine lived in the heat outlets. We would have long converstations. My parents kept asking me why I was talking to the ceiling. Once they understood that’s where my invisible friend lived they were fine with me talking to the ceiling. My brother’s friend was an orange and blue blanket that would fly next to the car. Yes, I come from a strange household. ---

My first invisible friend was named Kurshwhip. I don’t remember him; my family told me this story. Later, I had four, two girls and two boys. I made up stories about this quartet, but I knew they were not really there. Kurshwhip, though, I don’t know. I was under the age of three when I hung with Kurshwhip. ---
