I find it quite amusing that **no one** has solved **any** of mine completely. 😃 Here’s a few hints. “Tigerlily” is right-on. The artist on “Tigerlily” used to be part of 10,000 Maniacs, and reminds me of Sarah McLachlan and Tori Amos. “Animosity” is right-on. The band is two words combined— a number spelled out, and “dust”. Look at it again, and you’ll realize which number. It’s just “Play” for the album itself. The artist, however, is a techno DJ guy whose adopted name is the **first word** of a book about a crazy sea captain who wants revenge on the whale who bit off his leg. (I can’t believe I had to explain that.) One of the bands listed is a very famous Irish band whose lead singer has but one name. Perhaps my hints will stir some of you into solving them? 😉 ---

I can’t believe I’ve done more to solve them than anyone else. \*1. flying insect, first name of Moslem boxer; short for merchandise, crawling bug that cuts leaves; to connect two strings, moronically simplistic noise a bear makes, orange flower often found by country roads.\*Natalie Merchant - Tiger Lily _2. baby sheep, number after one; long corridor, second word of stupid kid’s show on Nickelodeon; opposite of me; metal container but used negatively; ? ; letter after A, first part of phrase meaning to realize what you should have done_ (This confused me, because a ewe is female sheep. A baby sheep is a lamb) U2 - All That You Can’t Leave Behind _3. First word of book by Herman Melville Hall; fun opposite of work._ I thought this was a different person than the author of Moby Dick. I’ve never seen him referred to as Hall. Call - Play _4. Number after 6, tiny particles of dirt; Raggedy’s last name, opposite of her, last word of our current missile campaign against Iraq, mass dwelling larger than a town._ SevenDust - Animosity ---

I tried to check it out, but it was unbearably slow, so I gave up, and never went back. It _may_ still be running. I suppose they’d be pissed if we co-opted the name. ---

There’s this town out in the wilds of the Great Plains, a small peaceful town where everyone is friendly, and strangers are always welcome. The one strange thing about this town is that eveyone who lives there owns a Grizzly, and the animals are allowed to roam around town freely. Now the bears are as gentle as the townsfolk, so everyone feels safe, but the bears can’t get to the other side of the street unless their owner walks with them. So, anytime a bear needs to do this, it will go get it’s owner, who drops what he’s doing to go help his bear. When I visited this town recently I saw all this, and I asked a gentleman why the did this, since it seemed so troublesome to have to go walk your bear across the street anytime it wanted to.
