Yes, since there was a game on this board in the last year, we are eligible to send a representative to the biggest online Mafia competition in the world. (Giraffe also has a spot, despite the two groups of players having near-total overlap). I have played a few times and it is lots of fun, but very demanding. Expect to be playing Mafia like it was your job for a couple weeks (or get quickly voted off for lurking). Here is the official invite, I guess I am the SDMB liason so I will transmit our decision to the organizers once we have a consensus on who are we are sending. We also need an alternate! Feel free to ask me in this thread for more details. Deadline is March 4 so this is semi-time sensitive. [Here is a link to the Mafia Championship General Info Thread on Mafia Universe.](https://www.mafiauniverse.com/forums/threads/58979-Mafia-Championship-Season-13-General-Thread) Also, note that in addition to players, they are seeking volunteers to write the color text for games (no other mod responsibilities involved. I know we have some great flavor writers here! ---

Just bumping this because today is the deadline! Obviously literally anyone is welcome to go, since there has been no interest.
