# iOS games similar to Blockwick, that don't cost $10!

About a year ago, the Starbucks app offered a free download of Blockwick 2. I’ve played it quite a lot. I was going to buy the original Blockwick, but it is $9.99 which seems a bit spendy. Anyone know other puzzle games that are similar that are less expensive, around the $2.99 price range. My requirements are no ads and doesn’t require wifi or data.

I can’t help, but just wondered if the Starbucks app gives you much in the way of discounts/freebies on drinks & snacks?

I haven’t played Blockwick, but I have a recommendation for a fabulous puzzle game: [Monument Valley](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/monument-valley/id728293409?mt=8). At $3.99, it’s a buck out of your ideal price range; but it has no ads or data/wifi requirements (unless you get the single expansion, which IMHO is well worth it). The game is beautiful and mesmerizing, and the puzzles are wonderful. None of them were, for me, total headbreakers; but they were generally difficult enough to keep me interested, and I think there were a couple of times where I had to leave the game and come back later with a fresh perspective in order to complete them.
It’s the best IOS game I’ve ever played.

It does, they send me endless promos. Since I switched to working 330 PM-midnight, i don’t use it as much as I used to when I worked days. But, there’s always discounts available, lately, they’ve been more common on the breakfast sandwiches, which are actually quite good.

Sounds perfect, I’ll buy it today. I don’t mind paying money for apps, I just hate when I find out they’re not supported 6 months later, so that’s why i try to keep the cost down.
