# iPhone 5 user gets electrocuted -- plausibility?

She was holding it wrong. But seriously, I just read this teardown and commentary of a cheap iPhone charger today: [Tiny, cheap, and dangerous: Inside a (fake) iPhone charger](http://www.righto.com/2012/03/inside-cheap-phone-charger-and-why-you.html) It’s very informative. In particular, proper distance between primary and secondary components was not maintained.
