# iPhone sending large data files over cell network at night

I don’t use a VOIP app at all. Perhaps that app is not using any kind of WifiLock? My phone seems to go in and out of the various modes gracefully with tweets, texts and phone messages?

WiFi locking would artificially drain the battery of my phone, so I don’t want the app to override the OS.

Anyway, lets end this hijack and let the thread get back to topic.
