The earphones that come w/ it don’t stay in the ear very well. I plan on using mine all the time, walking around and at the gym- so which earphones will keep the device in my ears? I see they have earphones that stick into your eardrum, but do those work well even as you move around a gym? What kind should I get?

I use the Sony in the ear type. They have three different size inserts so you can get a better fit. I find that they are really comfy but they block out ALL the external noise, no way would I use them biking or driving.

I have two pair of earphones that have a plastic hook that wraps around our outer ear, like [these](http://audiovisual.kelkoo.co.uk/b/a/sbs/120901/15306638.html). One pair is very comfortable and secure. The other ones hurt because the same doesn’t match the opening of my ear canal and the hook forces them into a very uncomfortable position.

So I guess it’s all about the way your ear is shaped.
