OK George, right now get some meds, blankets. tents food and some USA Moslem guys to be sure the dietary laws are met, stick it all in some C 130s and send it off so that they will know we are their pals, not a bunch of guys who want their children to blow up themselves and others. Yes, we’ll do all those things, as we should. But you know it probably won’t matter, or change anybody’s opinion who counts. Still, one ought to do the right thing, even when it won’t be appreciated. ---

However it is the USA that keeps pulling away from Iran (ex. Bush’s “axis of evil”). Either aid is good 🙂 ---

However, the Iranian hard-liners still control the government, so the official government cant is anti-US in the extreme. Almost as vitriolic as those in Iraq. Granted, GWB doesn’t help the situation with his “axis of evil” remarks, but there has been nothing like an official gesture of peace from the ayatollahs who run the nation. ---
