But if you want to do comparisons, I mean, didn’t Singapore have a ban on gum for the longest time? And North Koreans don’t have proper INTERNET access! Democracy is this odd thing where the minority will always smother the majority while somehow keeping everyone relatively comfortable. Iran is just a step above the state of nature with a piss poor contract between government and citizen. 😃 Besides, if it weren’t for places like Iran, we wouldn’t be so superior and awesome. 😉 ---

I guess they figure if you can’t buy booze, you’ll go to church. _Because those are your only two options of things to do_. Greece banned [all video games, including mine sweeper](http://news.cnet.com/2100-1040-956357.html) at one point. Slick move, Greece. What I think gets this law extra ire is the cruelty. It’s not the dog’s fault it’s a dog. Many families have dogs as beloved pets, as well as provide security, and as helpers. It’s basically enforcing a traumatic event on people for absolutely retarded, and backwards reasons. Further it’s just another in a long line of backwards and retarded laws. ---
