I currently have a GD thread regarding **Iraqi Politic: The Coy Young Maiden Approach is completely pathetic** … Nuff said. And yes I can not wait to see a group of Marines, charge into his press conference and him still saying, there are no infidels in Baghdad!!! Pathetic, and I really do not see the rationale. ---

I think he’d be a little bit more believable if he conceded just a bit, “We’ve lost some of our brave fighters to the infidels, but we are holding strong” but this complete Queen of Denial routine is getting ludicrous. There’s a BBQ Pit thread too…about what a pisser he is. ---

I assume everyone else is doing like we are doing and calling him “the Mis-information Minister”. I am sorta starting to feel sorry for the guy. Because 1) he believes what he is saying or 2) he is deluding his own people. Either way it is a sad thing. ---

Actually, I had Leslie Neilson (sp?) in the Naked Gun in my mind with this. There is a scene where a house is burning down and fireworks and crap going off with total mahem behind him. **Nothing to see here, nothing to see here, Move on!**. ---

Maybe he doesn’t know he’s really not in Baghdad. Maybe they’ve kept him in some little room with a tiny window in the outer reached of Iraq and just TOLD him he was in Baghdad. ---

it is rather baffling. there is plausible deniability, and then there is the iraqi information minister. he, (i hate to say it,) is wearing no clothes. ---

nbc just broke in with news of a massive strike, that may have killed saddam and his sons. the bombs were dropped in a very residential area and the crater is very huge. they acted on intelligence that sh, qh, and uh, along with top advisors were meeting. i’ve been thinking that saddam has been out of it for a while. i would have expected there to at the very least booby traps in the various “palaces.” the lack of things flying toward israel, and no sign of the womd’s seemed rather strange with saddam at the helm. ---
