In 8th grade I became obsessed with The Smashing Pumpkins, _especially_ Billy Corgan. I had dreams about him all the time. I even dreamed that I was close friends with all of them, and we went on trips together and stuff. I fell in love with his voice first, though. When I first heard “Bullet with Butterfly Wings” I taped it and listened to it at least 20 times in a row. And whenever I saw a Pumpkins music video I’d throw myself at the television. If my friend had a picture of him in a magazine, I’d rip it out without even asking. Man, I was insane. I still think that Billy’s the bee’s knees, and I still have my poster of him on my wall, but the lust and stuff have died down. * * * Welfy I wonder what the king is doing tonight? ---

Well, my crush, as I have mentioned elsewhere, is an actor named David Patrick Kelly. I suppose one could call that irrational, since few people even know who he is, and those who do think he’s an odd focus for a crush. Having an irrational as opposed to rational crush on someone famous would be called foolish idolatry. It works on the principle that a person does not feel ‘self’ and so sucks the self of someone famous, as if to give themself some ‘self.’ I think almost everyone does it at some time in their life. ---

Sealemon88 - I love your choices. Renee has this cute girlish sexuality going on. (Not pedophilia you perverts) Catherine Zeta-Jones is my favorite. My love for her is the only thing that surpasses my love for bacon (if you read my thread you know how much I love bacon). The only disappointing thing about her in The Haunting was that she kept putting on more clothes! What kind of horror flick has the cute girl with more clothes at the end! ---

I’ve always had a big crush on Mike Myers and Jeff Goldblum… When I was pregnant, of course, hormones being what they are at that point, I had the _yummiest_ dream about Jeff Goldblum and was then compelled to watch every movie he’d ever made… Guanolad: Have you seen Mel C’s spread in this months “Interview” magazine? She got a seriously cool, short haircut and she looks completely different (though no more or less attractive than ever.) YES! I ADMIT IT! I have a favourite Spice Girl, and Sporty is her name! OK!? I agree that Julia Roberts and Demi are average at best… I also happen to think that Sporty Spice is a dog, but it’s probably her lame hair and ugly clothes. My crushes… (btw, this totally reminds me of the “Embarrassing Celebrity Crushes” thread I started when this board was new) Sting, always I had a thing for Jeff Goldblum for a while too… Kevin Bacon Dennis Quaid (because I used to date a guy that looked just like him, except with long hair…drool) and my obsession … Brendan Fraser. I don’t know what it is, but I actually get depressed occassionally…actually DEPRESSED that I will never have him. Like I said, I had to watch _all_ his movies, even the crappy ones, just because I have this wonderful mindset that allows me to drool with the sound off… Stoidela’s post in the brush with fame thread reminded me of Eric Roberts… I’ve seen all ten thousand of his movies, too.
