I bought a 13.3" Asus a couple years back precisely because it was the largest-size laptop that fits inside my vintage leather briefcase alongside lots of other stuff I need daily all over town. I feel the 13-incher is perfect, being much bigger than mini-laptops but way more petite and handy than regular ones. Now that I have a 17" Asus as a home laptop, I see average-size laptops are nowhere near as portable as the smaller ones are, be it for size or weight.
