AFAIK, the amputee fetishists aren’t particularly into fake limbs, which is what the glasses would be in this particular analogy. Perhaps there exists a fetish for people with blurry vision, perhaps developed by too much childhood exposures to episodes of Scooby Doo where Velma has to crawl around looking for her glasses. ---

There are meeting sites, discussion sites, for “devotees” and those they’re attracted to. Some mix amputee, paralysis, and low vision/glasses fetishists all together. Others are specific to the disability but I am pretty sure there are multiple sites for glasses fetishists alone, as well. Even if you aren’t disabled yourself, if you date or marry a disabled person you will probably run into this sub-group of fetishists. It;s all over the net. ---

I would say it frames the eyes, like eyebrows or mascara. Once attention is brought to the eyes and the glasses come off it’s like removing a barrier and making things more intimate. But if someone is pleasuring themselves to Mr. Magoo cartoons then I don’t know what’s going on inside that head. ---

If you’re attracted to the person based on some belief that it’s cute how they bump into walls and stuff, if they ever go around without their glasses, then yes. While I’ll admit that there’s probably at least one person with that fetish, I’m pretty confident that’s not the majority appeal. For most people, it indicates bookishness and a lack of interest in being normal. ---

If you insist that your partner leave the glasses on during sex, and you can’t get aroused otherwise, that might be a fetish. If you sniff the ear pieces of your partner’s spare pair when he (or she) isn’t there, that’s borderline, and if you pleasure yourself with your partner’s old pair, and the partner doesn’t even need to be there, umm, that’s definitely a fetish. Do you try to steal the glasses of people you find attractive, and have a drawerful of them that you fondle? Fetish, absolutely. Also, can I please point out that it is possible to be attracted to a person with a disability, and there’s nothing weird about that? There are some people who are attracted exclusively to people with a certain disability, and aren’t interested in the person as much as the disability, and that’s when it has spilled over into fetish territory. ---
