IIRC there was also a poem in the yearbook “If it’s Saturday night, and it’s getting late, and you don’t have a date, call Renate.” To go to a dance or a show, we assume. Presume the phrase referred to the fact that they were all “graduates” from Renate, the modern usage or Alumnus.
Apparently she was unaware of these 1982 references until the recent news broke.
I think of all this as the 1980’s version of “don’t put stupid stuff up on Facebook…”
