# Is anal sex illegal?

I believe it was in Texas (surprisingly enough)… A male cohabiting with another male (they were, er, more than just roommates) was discovered in flagrante delicto with his partner when a police officer was allowed into the house by another roommate to investigate a noise complaint (i think).
He was charged with sodomy under the Texas criminal code, and convicted; the prosecutor, apparently convinced of the ridiculousness of the whole affair, then interceded and the guy was allowed on on time served and paid a $500 fine.
