# Is anyone else planning to watch Monk on USA?

I saw an advertisement for a new detective series on USA (a cable TV network) called _Monk_ last night while watching _Law and Order: SVU_. It stars Tony Shalhoub (remember the taxi driver from _Wings_?) as a detective with OCD. Details can be found [here](http://www.usanetwork.com/series/monk/).
I’m no fan of the USA network but this series looks very interesting. The fact that I like Shalhoub doesn’t hurt, either.
So I’ll be tuning in July 12 at nine to watch the two-hour series premier on \ USA. Will you?

It does look amusing, and I like Tony Shalhoub, but I won’t go out of my way. If I happen to see it, great. If not, it’ll just mean I actually found something to do with myself. Heh.

Tony Shalhoub rocks my world, and a well-done quirky detective series is a joy forever. I sure will be watching.

I’ll give it a shot, the commercials look interesting, and Shalhoub is an entertaining actor. He was about the only source of real laughs on _Wings_, so who knows. I haven’t seen a good P.I. series since…well, I don’t know when. It’s about time for another one.
That _Dead Zone_ show on USA surprised me by actually being pretty decent. Maybe USA is finally going to do some good original programming.
