Is anyone familiar with the singer Eva Cassidy?

Thanks for the link. Didn’t read it yet but saved it for later.

A guy named Jeff Muller, he actually helped put on the Blues Alley show at the end.

In 2000, I was working in sales at an electronics store, and an actor asked me if we had any of her CDs. I had heard of her at the time, but not much (mostly because of her location and death).

fresh takes on “Somewhere over the Rainbow.”

Judy Garland did a great version of “Over the Rainbow” and died at 47. Israel Kamakawiwo`ole did a better version and died at 38. Eva Cassidy did the best version yet and died at 33. Please, Connie Talbot, don’t continue to improve your version of the song. You’ll do the best version ever and promptly keel over dead:

Cool to read.

Maybe the next thread for outside the DC area people is, just like Eva Cassidy was only know to locals in her lifetime, Danny Gatton is the best guitarist you’ve never heard of.

And I actually got to hear him perform.

Oh, Doper guitarists know who Danny Gatton is
