Too many bike and Little Miss Muffet (down- came-a-spider-called-Cruise-dangling-on-a-cable) scenes in the first two films. Less is more.

I hate Tom Cruise. I hate Mission Impossible. But I’ll go to see Jonathan Rhys Meyers, so yes, I’ll probably go see it.

Just saw it. Good, solid summer action flick.
I especially liked the sliding down the angled glass rooftop stunt. And Hoffman was scary good.
I’ve got nothing against Tom Cruise as a person, and I like him as an actor and producer.
I still wish they’d do a movie true to the spirit of the original _MI_ series, though.

There’s additional use of latex faces that look remarkably real so in that respect it was like M:I:II, only not taken to its ridiculous extreme. There were remarkably well-executed capers like The Italian Job. No Thandie Newton, and he and his love interest seemed pretty natural together.

Thanks. Is that her name? Rather annoying specimen, I found her.

Sounds perfect for Sat afternoon matinee…

Well, seen all three in a week. Daughter went 2, 3, 1; I went 3,1,2, so there’s a thing! Best villain in 3, and some of the bst lines. My favourites: Fishbourne ‘Please don’t ask me when I’m asking a rhetorical question’, and, not a line, as such, but good writing, the playing of ‘We are family’ when Cruise is escaping all the double-agents, infiltrators, ‘company-men-with-no-morals’, etc. at IMF.

‘Interrupt’ not ‘ask’. Despearte to go back for extra time in the Cup Final. (Liverpool, you should have thrown that ball out of play for a goal kick.)
