jshore, ever read what Richard Feynman said about NAS? I can’t recall the quote exactly, but it was to the effect that they spent most of their time trying to figure out ways to keep people out that they didn’t like (not because these folks did bad science, but just that they didn’t like them). It’s in his Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman.
