The title is a rare example of truth in advertising. It truly is expendable. We saw this and Scott Pilgram vs The World on the same night, and Michael Cera was a more exciting action star in that film than this underlit pile of crap. ---

If I can add something–you seem to be bringing many of your friend’s queries to us; perhaps he or she should join up with the SDMB and cut out the middleman. 😉 BTW, I haven’t seen the film yet, but I want to. The rumors surrounding The Expendables listed nearly every action star of the last 20 years at one point or another. And the number of people who turned Sly down who’ll probably want a piece of the bigger sequel is impressive all by itself (Kurt Russell, Jean Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal, Danny Trejo). The plot was pretty simple but a great cast of tough guys, had fun with it. But ya gotta love excessive kicking, punching, copious gunshots, knife throws, and plenty of explosions. So PSXer, did you like the movie? (My friend wants to know.) ---
