I’ve not seen that many Argentinian westerns, can you recommend some?
They are big on beef and have lots of ranches and cowboys. I am not sure about stage coaches and six-shooters but the basics are still there. Actually, I hear that Buenos Aires looks a little similar to Paris but everything is very cheap.
And some dry white toast.
Of course. “La guerra gaucha”.
I know you were joking but actually Argentina and the U.S. has something of a parallel history. For example, where the U.S. had the expansion into the west we had the “Desert Conquest”, and so on.
Well, I live in West Australia if that helps.
Of course in Australia you can choose to live in a part of the country dedicated to the lifestyle of your choice:
Western Australia for those who crave the comforts of Western society.
South Australia for anyone yearning for antebellum times when church going. white folks brooked no nonsense from the coloreds.
Victoria for the prudish and ill informed.
The Northern Territory for the adventurous. Any adventure seems to lead North or North West.
Queensland explains itself really.
New South Wales for people who think they are fresh and bright and NEW but are really just like the Welsh - noisy.
Tasmania. I think that the fact that Aussies call a woman’s pubic hair “a map of Tassie” tells you what they think Tasmanians are.
