Ignoring the inflammatory bit, I think it’s fair to say that actual racists are far outnumbered by those hoping for social gain by calling other people racist.
I think ugly people are still fair game.

If not, I think it’s fair to claim that you’re just talking through your hat.
My experiencxe is directly counter to that.
I have known several dozen racists who have skewed hiring or rental practices to exclude non-white applicants. I have known three blacks who have attempted to cry “racism” when they were fired or evicted–and two of them were laughed out of the offices of the black lawyers whose services they sought.
I doubt that my experience represents any legitimate population sampling, but barring actual evidence, my impression carries as much weight as yours.
