The word “reluctant” is used sarcastically, indicating that manipulation on the mom’s/psychologist’s part, rather than legitimate reluctance, are to blame for the lengths they presumably had to go to in order to get the girl to say such a ridiculous thing. ---

Actually, ‘reluctantly’ is the word she used in her ‘statement of facts’, to support her order to show cause that kicked all this off. ---

I like when you get indignant about stuff (which is basically every time you ever post, ever) because it makes it that much funnier when you’re wrong. ETA: not that I’m right, but still… ---
