Hi folks, I haven’t really been on here much in recent years but I was wondering if Bmalion is still an active member and, if not, how he is keeping? He hosted me and others in his home in Cleveland and always made me feel extremely welcome Stateside. I feel bad that I fell out of touch but hopefully he’s doing OK. Thanks. An Gadaí ---

I’m afraid I don’t know them personally and therefore can’t give you an update, but they last posted almost 3 years ago. Here’s hoping someone who knows more comes along shortly I’m going to tag them (@Bmalion) in case that triggers an email or something and prompts them to get back you. ---

Under the revised terms and conditions of [The Great Summer 2021 Doper Postcard Exchange!](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/the-great-summer-2021-doper-postcard-exchange/945355) (@Elendil_s_Heir runs a very tight ship) I sent them a postcard a couple of weeks ago and on the basis of other recipients would judge it to be not far from being delivered. ---

Unless I’m mistaken, I seem to remember that he died a few years ago. Someone please verify this. ---

I saw **BMalion** with my own eyes as recently as June 28 and can now confirm that he was, in fact, at least at that time, really most sincerely _not_ dead. ---
