# Is Cecil Adams a real person?

For those of us who are still paying attention, the information about Cecil Adams provided by [http://www.uspto.gov](http://www.uspto.gov) also indicates that Cecil is dead. Clearly this is not the case.

Regarding Cecil Adams being Ed Zotti, They both have published numerous works. Perhaps their works should be both submitted to the same analysis that Shakespeare’s works were submitted to to determine if they were actually written by one of his contemporaries.
