If so…why were they covering that bash Kerry event in DC live today? ---

They also carry events that bash Bush. So, yes, they are nonpartisan, in that they cover events for both sides. ---

C-SPAN does pretty much everything live. ---

C-SPAN covers a lot of campaign events and they tend to show the whole thing, so you don’t just see the sound bites that end up on TV news. On C-SPAN call in shows, there are separate numbers to call depending upon your political alignment so callers from one side don’t dominate the discussion. ---

C-SPAN is great, not only do they show whole events but they also don’t have analysts chattering about the event the whole time. They’re about as non-partisan as it gets on US TV. ---

They’re also the only national media to cover the Libertarian National convention, and I think that they’ve even covered the Reform Party’s national convention. So not only are they nonpartisan, they also give more attention to fringe parties than the national media does. ---
