Did he _really_ not understand that melting sea ice doesn’t raise sea level?? :dubious: :smack: At first I figured he was trying for some kind of Gotcha! FXMaster, for example, probably does have a junior-high-school level understanding of climatology but plays coy hoping he can make some sophomoric sneer at a Freshman-level comment. But whether at junior-high level (FXMaster) or 3rd-grade level (doorhinge) what astounds me is that the _more ignorant_ a person is, the _more confident_ he is to challenge experts. One wonders what sort of cognitive dissonance is at work. Do they think “All Newton needed was an apple. Maybe one will fall on my head too!” 😛 ---
