Look, the only celebs that really count nowadays are Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Ritchie. And they only way any of them would post or even LURK here was if it was part of a community service sentence. (Yes, for them it would be punishment.) ---

No, I don’t think he’s a member. Drawing any conclusion about a person’s membership here because of something they said in real life is stupid. I think the reasons given in the OP are completely retarded. . .because he’s intelligent, and intelligent people hang out here? There’s about 5 things wrong with that statement. The airplane/treadmill thing has been done to death, everywhere. Furthermore, the 5000+ members (even include occasional guests) is an amazingly small number. I don’t think people get just how small that is. That’s the size of a small town in freakin’ northern Maine. I’m actually surprised that someone the size of Jim Beaver ever even made it through here. Jesus, if a guy showed up who said he filled in at keyboard at a Pat Benator concert once in 1982 because the real player got food poisoning, I’d be impressed. ---

While I don’t doubt that the 5,000 regulars probably doesn’t include too many celebrities (hi Al!), I’d wager a good bit of money that a few of those 70,000 are famous folks who have registered, posted and let their membership lapse. ---
