# Is ebay broken?

I’ve tried to log in a couple of times this afternoon, but I get a “connection failure” alert.  
The home page comes up ok, but pretty much everything else is no go.  
I use a mac, so you can never tell. 😉

How about the deeper question: is ebay broken?

Whenever I look for something, there always seem to be tens, sometimes hundreds of auctions that match my search. 90% of them have no bids. This says to me that there are too many sellers and not enough buyers. Is ebay going down the tubes?

seems to me, IIRC, that ebay gets paid - at least a little - if the item sells or not.

I think that people are just on an ebay rampage with the hopes of getting rich quick.
