Can not send mail from work, so I will ask here: Where is \*\*elucidator \*\*? I haven’t seen any posts from him in a while. Anybody knows if he is ok? ---

According to his [profile](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/member.php?username=elucidator), he’s not been here since the 6th, nearly three weeks ago. Nothing in his last few posts about taking a sabatical or anything, either. Hope he’s ok. ---

You know, one of the great things about this place is that people get concerned when someone doesn’t show up for awhile. A rare thing on a message board, I think. _feels sappiness welling up, squeezes everybody_ ---
