Here is a recent BBC article on Gates in regards to the Epstein files.
There is only one accusation I can see, and it’s not an allegation of anything illegal (and it’s disputed as well).
Records released by the US justice department include an allegation by Epstein that Bill Gates caught a sexually transmitted disease. Gates’s spokesperson has called the claim “absolutely absurd”.
Further, it goes on to state:
Bill Gates has not been accused of wrongdoing by any of Epstein’s victims, and the appearance of his name in the files does not imply criminal activity of any kind.
In a statement to the BBC, a spokesperson for Bill Gates said the Microsoft co-founder had never attended parties with the late financier and had no involvement in illegal activities associated with Epstein.
“While Mr Gates acknowledges that meeting with Epstein was a serious error in judgment, he unequivocally denies any improper conduct related to Epstein and the horrible activities in which Epstein was involved,” the statement said.
For her part, Melinda seems to not want to be mixed up in any of this. She hasn’t made any accusations against Bill herself.
She added: “Whatever questions remain there of what - I can’t even begin to know all of it - those questions are for those people and for even my ex-husband. They need to answer to those things, not me.”
It seems like a guilt by association issue in regards to Bill Gates, and no accusations of anything illegal on his part.
Right. But just associating with Epstein after it was known what he did is not a Good Thing. Even a free jet ride or trying to get him to donate to a good cause. But not even close to being a crime.
We covered that in the other Epstein thread, along with my comments as to why it is a stupid and bad ideas. It seems based mostly on one con organizer who has a beef with Horner.
But I mean banning anyone who ever corresponded with Epstein? and worse- anyone who is ALLEGED to have corresponded. Even the guy who sends a letter with “rot in hell!”- it also bans any other org that allows Horner , etc in, “Guilt by association”. This hies back to the bad old days of the Blacklist.
You sure did! I kindly ask folks who have anything else to say about that to continue to cover it in the other Epstein thread: it’s in danger of hijacking this one, which is about a specific question, not about all things Epstein.
And again, a helpful reminder that was another thread. This thread “Is Epstein unique?” is about if there are other predators/facilitators of this type and scale that still wait to be identified. Please take discussion about retaliation or justice brought to people identified in the files to a more appropriate thread. And definitely do NOT refight battles from other threads in this one, unless it has to with persons fitting the OP’s request.
