# Is Fanfiction.net down?

I can’t even view anything. Even loading that “Is it down” website takes forever.

Not to me. I can’t even view anything, neither from my laptop nor smartphone. Yet I can open LiveJournal, YouTube, Gmail etc. without problems.

[http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/](http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/) (or any of the other sites like it) is a good place to start whenever you wonder if it’s the site or you.

ETA: and now I notice you mentioned that in the OP. That site says it’s up, not sure why it didn’t give you the same result.

What are you using? I was just able to open in with Chrome.
