I just watched a film about how the media perpetuates stereotypes of Arabs as garishly weathy, evil, incompetent, and certifiably insane. Sad to say that when I saw the footage of Gaddafi talking about rats and cats on hallucination drugs, I thought, “Maybe that stereotype is based on reality!” ---
