The man is dead but may we dare to hope that his noble struggle for human rights lives on? In the shape, that is, of the renowned [Algaddafi International Prize for Human Rights](http://www.gaddafiprize.org/WhoEn.htm). Past winners include Fidel Castro, His Holiness Pope Shnoda III and the Red Indians. (That’s right, the Red Indians. Think Gaddafi and his guys had seen too many old Westerns? I mean who the hell calls them Red Indians these days?) I’ am a tad concerned though. My attempts to reach the organization in Tripoli have proved fruitless. I guess they’re a little busy at the moment what with this and that. 🙂 ---

I also love that it’s been awarded to _Louise_ Farrakhan.
