> Aw Jesus. I try to like the people who share my politics. But rjung, would you greatly mind crawling back under whatever rock you slimed out from under?

Who the fuck are you, exactly? What the fuck are your politics?

It seems to me that you’re just some whining pansy assed apologist for the GOP.

I’d like to kindly ask you to go fuck yourself.

> Actually, 100,000 figure excludes the deaths recorded in that problematic Fallujah cluster. If the deaths from that cluster are included the figure rises to nearly 200,000.

You are correct that the initial reports I had read wrongly attributed the spike to Fallujah. I’m glad to see the actual report, finally.

I would still be reluctant to bandy this report about until an actual census can be taken, however. Reading the full report simply raises more questions for me: their “random” process was affected by whether they thought it was safe to interview a specific region and they made assumptions that “similar” locations that _were_ safe would give similar results; they made the assumption that urban results would give the same results as associated rural areas. Their numbers may turn out to be correct when a genuine count can be assessed, but I find it counterproductive to wave that number around before it has been corroborated, since it is the practice of arguers (both sides) to sieze on individual factual errors to dismiss the entire argument of their opponents.

Even the 10,000 to 37,000 deaths estimate is pretty horrendous. Getting dismissed for “inflated” numbers does nothing to promote the discussion.

> Wait just a cotton pickin’ minute… Are you trying to tell me that if you get taxed out of your wealth AFTER you die, that it counts? If that’s all it takes to get into heaven, let’s just jack that “death tax” up to 100% and flood the place!!

I’m with you, brother! Hallelujah! Think of the souls we’ll save!
