# Is handy going to roll over?

Actually, I mean, “Is **handy** ’s post count going to roll over to zero like the odometer of an old-time car?” He’s more than halfway to 10,000 and it got me wondering.

A cursory search of other boards that use vBulletin (and that enable the members database) shows no user with more than 7,000 posts.

In short, can vBulletin support five-digit post counts? I’m hoping no, since it would give the rest of us our only chance to catch up. I’m guessing the answer is no, however.

Given the way computers work, I’d say he has a much better chance of rolling over after he hits 32,767 and go to -32,768. This, of course, could happen any day now. It’s even _more_ likely that the rollover won’t come until he surpasses 65,535.
